Upgrading the best silent pellet trap. Now even safer and quieter!

Today I'm modifying my favourite pellet trap to make it even easier to build, safer and even quieter than the previous lead lining. The plumbers putty is a non Newtonian fluid and is surprisingly effective at stopping air rifle pellets. it looks like it would also work very well for airsoft and bb rifles as its a very soft media but also absorbs a huge amount of energy. The feedback from the mk1 version was very positive but a lot of you dont have access to smelting equipment for the lead lining. this lining is readily available and non toxic so can be done indoors with only basic tools. i will build a smaller version to use on the channel and we can keep an eye on it,to see how well it lasts. my first impressions however are incredibly good and I'm sure it will be a very popular upgrade to silent pellet catchers I like to recycle my lead so i will carry on with the lead lining for the moment. However the putty lining is a lot quieter and shows absolutely no signs of ricochet . the rifle im using it the Airmaks katran c and its topped with an optisan cp scope and a cheap bipod
