PAPAJI - Guidance about the observer in deep sleep

In this video from 29th December 1992, Papaji guides a young man to inquire into the observer present in deep sleep. P: Because you didn't have anything, therefore you woke up happy. And now you are disturbed with things only, with ideas only, and with persons only, isn't it? When you say, "I am not happy," why you are not happy? Tell me. Why? You must refer to one of these things, no? "Because this man, this man hurt me." "This thing is not good. This idea is troubling me." And they were absent in the sleep. Remembrance means, consciousness alone was there and just emptiness was there. That remembrance is even now there, but don't touch any person, any idea, any thing. You are utilizing that remembrance even to function your heartbeat, even mind. Only go back to that remembrance, which is emptiness, then you will never be in trouble.
