Tiger Eggs

In a pot of water, put eggs and boil for 7 minutes. 2. Remove from the pot, soak in cold water and let it cool. 3. Peel off the egg shells and make multiple shallow cuts, vertically on the egg. 4. In a lightly oiled pan, fry boiled eggs until wrinkly and golden in color. 5. Remove from the pan and set aside. 6. In the same pan, saute ginger and garlic. Add the rest of aromatics like star anis and bayleaf. 7. Add cooking wine, sugar and sprite. Simmer until sugar dissolve and sauce thickens. 8. When sauce starting to thicken, return egg into the pan. Stir until sauces sticking to the eggs. Turn off fire, pour sesame oil. 9. Transfer to a serving try. Garnish with toasted sesame and onion spring. 10. Enjoy
