Ranking Records: Elton John: The Classic Years
It’s time to look at “The Classic Years” of Sir Elton Hercules John. This label comes from the name of the fantastic CD remastering of his catalog from 1969 to 1975. I have taken the liberty of going one LP further concluding with his “Blue Moves” record which marked the end of the first phase of his songwriting partnership with lyricist Bernie Taupin. We all know that Elton’s career has continued for many years after this. While we leave ranking those records for another day, help me out by telling me what your favorites are from Elton’s later years. A friendly reminder: please show your support and hit the “Like” and “Subscribe” buttons on YouTube and share this on your socials. Thanks for watching! www.musiccitymike.net
