Motorcycle License in Japan: Part 2 - The driving test (Converting a Foreign License)

Welcome to part two. If you have finished all the paperwork and passed the written test, you are ready to move on to part 2. This can be as soon as the next day! If you are doing your research ahead of time, be aware of this. It might seem like I am repeating myself or this is common sense but this practical driving proficiency test can cause a lot of stress for people. Pay attention to every detail because the examiner will be watching. Things that may not seem important in everyday riding may be really critical in passing this test. Also, taking the day off of work (esp. in Japan) can cause a lot of problems for people so passing on the first try prevents you from wasting days off and pissing your boss off. Here are some of my favorites: This is probably the best one. It is old but shows all the important tasks that need to be completed. He is not taking the test, just getting used to his new bike.
