ECONOMIC IMPACT OF HIGHWAY CLOSURE
Independent NSW State MP Phil Donato delivered a speech on the floor of the NSW Legislative Assembly highlighting the serious financial impacts to many businesses across the Central West following the closure of the Great Western Highway, and the traffic diversions which have significantly curtailed visitation to the MP's electorate. Donato has called on the NSW Government to provide assistance to struggling businesses and implement strategies to encourage tourist visitation.
