Phoenix Fire Dept. Station 52 ride along footage

I recently went on a ride-along at Phoenix Fire Department Station 52 and got a firsthand look at how the crews operate on a daily basis. Station 52 is staffed with Engine 52, Ladder 52, Ladder Tender 52, Rescue 52, and Battalion 6, all working together to serve the community. During the ride-along, Battalion 6 responded to three calls. The first was a reported structure fire involving Engine 52, Ladder 52, and Rescue 52. Shortly after clearing that response, Engine 52 was dispatched to check a fire alarm indication in the same area. Battalion 6 later responded to a house fire but was canceled when other units had already put the fire out. The final call was a 962 requiring extrication; however, upon arrival, crews were canceled after the patient was safely removed prior to their arrival. Throughout the shift, Ladder Tender 52 responded to medical calls, while Engine 52 handled medical calls along with brush fires and other fire-related incidents. Rescue 52 also responded to medical calls, and Ladder 52 responded to one fire. The ride-along was a great experience and showed how efficiently and professionally Station 52 and Battalion 6 handle a wide range of emergencies. #cool #viral #az
