The topic of exhaust gas recirculation remains with us in 2018! A Seat Ibiza (1.6-liter TDI) with a broken EGR valve is in Holger's workshop. But what exactly is wrong here? The auto doctors are taking the EGR valve apart. And right next to it is the next exhaust patient: a BMW with a clogged particulate filter, which Holger sent off for DPF cleaning. And: a VW T5 (2011, 2-liter, common rail injection) with a loud noise from the transmission - it seems that either the transmission is broken or there are serious problems with the dual-mass flywheel.
