West View Park An Insiders View

This video shows West View Park from a former employee's standpoint. Most of the film was shot in 1972 or 73. There are some scenes from a promotional movie that West View commissioned in the 1960's with Chilly Billy Cardill. I had an 8mm copy of that film which I used in here also. This video shows the park during those summers along with scenes of the destruction of the park (courtesy of Jim Kuhns). Some of the audio that is on the video is actual midway recordings or local radio spots from the late 60's to the mid 70's. Most are with the voice of Tom "Skip" Morrow. If you were in the local North Hills area in the early 70's you will remember the park which I grew up with. If you were lucky enough to have worked there you may remember some of the faces.
