MATERIALS used and Tips Styrofoam Board- 1 will make the 10 blades around the size I used. Exacto Blade- To cut out styrofoam board Paint and Brushes- I used Craft Paint, you can use acrylic or any paint that’s more non-soluble. Not watercolor, the Styrofoam will react. Pencil- to decorate the blades with a personal design T-shirt or way blue fabric- Using a polyester fabric would work when making the folds in order to properly fold the fan. I used a t-shirt which works, but if you want it to fold allow space in-between blades. Fold blades over and position before gluing. Fabric Paint- To paint to fabric if you want personal designs on it. Print out a Stencil or FREEHAND! Optional- Ribbon, Embroidery, glue attachments to the boarder of the fan to create the darker look to the fan. Feel free to go wild with it! Tape- tape the whole blade if you want to, if you notice mines is peeling in the video that’s because I filmed the intro/outro a month or longer later, moved, and unpacked it. So for longevity purposes tape the whole blade. Or simply tape the end like I showed. Wire- Once the blades are stacked (Also thinking back you may want to glue the fan fabric on first if you want it to fold completely then insert wire.
