This Is My Story | Scrapbooking My Faith & Life Week 3 & 4: My Season of Margin + My Happy Place

Welcome back to This Is My Story 💛 I’m Michelle McMillen with My Paper World by Shell, and I’m telling my story one layout at a time. In this video, I’m sharing Week 3 and Week 4 of my album—two layouts that are very personal to me. ✨ Week 3 is all about “Currently Loving: My Life With Margin” After years of raising my children, serving in ministry, and working in a support role helping Veterans with PTSD, I entered a new season of life after retirement—one filled with unexpected change, slowing down, and learning what it means to have margin. This insert reflects that journey through: Time to Read Time to Create Time to Reflect Time to Connect Time to Rest ✨ Week 4 is “This Is My Happy Place” For me, that place is the beach. I’m sharing photos from beaches around the world—including South Korea, France, North Carolina, Florida, and Texas—and the memories and meaning behind each one. The beach reminds me of God’s power, peace, and presence… “Heaven and earth are full of His glory.” – Isaiah 6:2–3 This layout was created using a sketch from Cindy Jackson (Scrapbook Cowgirl January Team Challenge) and features a mix of scrapbook supplies from my stash. 💬 I’d love to hear from you!
