Restoring the Original Door and Starting the Bedroom Transformation

Hi, I’m Ash, and welcome to my channel. A few weeks ago, Chad and I moved into our nearly 200 year old Tudor Gothic Revival townhouse here in London, and we’ve slowly started the process of restoring it with a focus on bringing back its original character. In this video, we begin restoring the original front door, carefully repairing and preparing the timber before repainting, a small but important step in bringing the exterior back to something more in keeping with the house. Inside, we’re also starting the transformation of the main bedroom, beginning to shape what will become a much softer, more considered space. And outside, we’ve made a start on the patio, reworking it into something that feels far more in keeping with the age and style of the property. It’s all very much a work in progress, but it finally feels like things are starting to take shape.
