SECRETS OF HOW TO MAKE CLEAN COOKING GAS FROM WATER HYACINTH

This video is showcase a lasting solution where we can use water hyacinth which is an invasive species to make Biogas for cooking, brooding and lighting our homes. Water Hyacinth has been a very big problem within Lake Victoria basin, it has really affected the transport sector, the fishing industry and loss of livelihood within the Lake Victoria Basin. We are now going to showcase ways at which we can use the same water hyacinth to increase our household income while fighting climate change also also cleaning our lake. Lake Victoria is the second largest Lake in the water but the Lake is highly infested with water hyacinth as a result of pollution. Water hyacinth and other invasive species can be used to create Biogas, produce organic manure, increase household income while fighting climate change. The method showcased can also be used to help clean the waste from the hotels, beaches and make our environment clean. If we can embrace this technology of using this Biogas system, we can help increase the forest cover within the lake Victoria basin. The organic manure produced from this biogas can be used to make kitchen garden.
