Bacon, Sausage & Eggs Classic Twig & Stick Fired Camping Stove: Firebox G2 5" Stove, Ultra Cook Kit

Does it any get better than sausage, bacon and eggs for breakfast when camping? I don't think so, it's my favorite meal ever, camping or not. Bacon is quite challenging, especially when cooking over a fire, not to mention everyone being so picky about how they like it crispy. Bacon has a lot of water tied up in the fat, that's why it spatters so much. That's also why you can start cooking bacon at a very high temp then once the moisture is cooked off you better be quick to turn down the heat because bacon goes from perfect to burned quite quickly. You can turn down the heat by letting the fire burn down, moving the pan on and off the heat or by moving the bacon to a cooler part of the pan. I wanted hot coals for cooking the eggs so I kept the fire big moving the pan and or the bacon to keep it at a just right temp. I guess I got lucky because it all turned out well and was very delicious! I'm an inventor who loves and truly believes in the goodness of wilderness.
