This is some experimental urea I found in the toy section of the 100-yen store Seria. It's actually meant to be a toy for making fluffy snow, but I'd seen a video about crystalline painting with urea and had been wanting to try it, so I discovered it and gave it a go. I used the remaining liquid to make fluffy snow. I heard it doesn't work in high humidity, so I chose a sunny day and even had the air conditioner on dehumidification. Urea fertilizer comes in a large quantity, so it's the perfect size for just a little bit. It's a bit pricey, though (^_^;) Painting is basically done with sandpaper, so if the paint is thin, it will easily wear through to the base coat. Even if the paint is thick, the sandpaper can easily get into corners and other areas, and if you sand too much, the base coat will easily wear through. If the base coat wears through, you'll have to start over, so if you're worried, use a fine-grit sandpaper and work slowly and carefully. [Procedure] Masking → 400-grit sanding → Degreasing → Black → Silver → Clear → Sand with 800-grit sandpaper → Urea solution → Crystallize for 10-20 minutes → Dry further → After complete drying, apply light oil-based black → Wash off the black with a sponge → Candy blue → Clear → Finished
