Modulwechsel GTK Boxer bei HIL - mittlere Kräfte

The Bundeswehr's medium-sized forces use their wheeled vehicles to close the time-tactical gap between light, fast, air-mobile forces and the heavy forces (tracked vehicles, battle tanks, artillery). The most important vehicle is the modular GTK Boxer, which consists of a driving module and various mission modules. The video shows the module change at HIL GmbH (HIL = Army Maintenance Logistics) at the Infantry School in Hammelburg. First, a medical module is removed and the work steps and required tools are explained based on the attachment and removal of a GTFz module (group transport vehicle). Simply attaching or removing a module takes less than 20 minutes, even with one person with a crane. The work, including screwing and cabling, takes a total of 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the size of the team (1 to 3 people).
