Au cœur de la légion étrangère : Opération Barkhane

A few weeks before their departure for Mali, the legionnaires of the 2nd Engineer Regiment are training in the mountains of Mont Ventoux, in Provence. Under the command of Lieutenant Nicolas and Corporal Kiril, they face two days of extreme endurance, enduring heat, steep inclines, and exhaustion. Each exercise aims to forge group cohesion before the ordeal of the African terrain. Among them, Maxime, a young Lithuanian, struggles to cope with fatigue and the weight of his pack. His difficulties test the solidarity of the group, the very foundation of the Legion. In this hostile environment, military discipline blends with the silent brotherhood of the men. Their training becomes a moral as well as a physical test. Beneath the shouts of the officers and the sweat, the spirit of unity of an army drawn from all over the world is revealed. Each legionnaire must prove himself worthy of the battle to come. Because in the French Foreign Legion, you never leave a brother behind.
