Kimba and Simba I Always Wanted a Brother

I saw someone else do this and I liked the concept of Kimba and Simba being like adopted brothers. So, I thought I would give it a shot. I know you probably think it's odd that I had Kimba singing Mufassa's part instead of Simba, but I just felt those roles fit them better. I hate to say it, but Taka was quite a bit like Simba was before he grew up, going on and on about how he could'nt wait to be king without really knowing what it meant to be a leader. Not that I think Simba would ever turn evil, but Mufassa's lessons about the circle of life might not have hit nearly as hard for Simba if the cub didn't go through the trauma of losing his dad. Just to be clear, I'm not saying that Mufassa dying was in any way a good thing! I'm just saying God tends to take our life's hardships and uses them to develop our character. Now Kimba on the other hand never got to meet his dad, Panjah at all. He only heard about him through the residents of the jungle. He looked up to his dad and did everything he could to live up to his father's legacy, like the adult Simba was struggling with in The Lion King 2. Even as a cub though, Kimba still seemed to have a greater understanding of the circle of life and what it meant to be a leader than Simba did at his age. Kimba was certainly more of a peace lover however and sometimes he did go a little too far with that.They are both great characters though and if they were owned by the same company and raised in the same jungle, I think they both could have benefitted from an adopted brotherhood like this.
