An M.Phil holder, he has formerly taught at Chhayanaut Sangeet Bidyayatan and Shurer Dhara, and is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Music at the University of Dhaka. He was honored with the prestigious Channel i-Citycell Music Award in 2013.
