City on a Hill | Sermon on the Mount

Jesus describes the church as salt, light, and a city on a hill. There is so much symbolism loaded into a few verses. It all comes down to the people of God living out their faith in everyday life. When we do this, people will see our lives and glorify our Father in heaven. Title: City on a Hill Series: Sermon on the Mount Text: Matthew 5:13-16 Speaker: Josh Branham Discussion/Reflection Questions: How can you intentionally have contact with people who need Jesus? What would help prevent you from becoming influenced by the world? What does it look like for you to create a craving for Jesus? What is the difference between doing good works that are seen & doing good works in order to be seen? Are there any areas of your life where you feel like you are hiding your identity in Christ? What is a way that you can shine a little brighter for Jesus this week? How are you serving the city?
