The book is described as "The Diary of a Seeker of Truth" in its cover, upon reading this I am able to understand his true quest in spiritual awakening under the guidance of Shri Maha Periyava fondly called by him as Shri Mahaswami. He wanted to know the ultimate BRAHMAM In August 1968 he was introduced to the Shri Maha Periyava, Shri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Swamigal, and subsequently obtained permission from Paramacharya to accompany him on many of his padayatras. Some of the self-proclaimed elders of the Sanathana Dharma around Shri Maha Periyava considered him as an outsider and could not understand his real ideals, it is possible because of that (rather they did not prefer to) did not understand his true spiritual quest.
