YET ANOTHER Kenmore 80 Series Washer! Part 1 - Test Cycle

Originally recorded June 24, 2020. xjoe81x has long been on the hunt for another Direct Drive washer, he's jealous that I have 2 machines. Could you imagine that he ran into such dumb luck that his neighbor decided to toss their direct drive and dryer, and it just so happened to be a Kenmore, almost IDENTICAL to the one he already has? Yes, it really happened! So in this part of a LONG series on this washer, we take a look at it, and run a full cycle, right on the back patio, to make sure it's functional. It definitely washes, but it needs a good cleaning, a set of agitator dogs, and also slips into spin and doesn't do a neutral drain. But the main thing is, it's functional; the rest of the issues can be addressed.
