Thabo Bester saga | Pre-trial hearing underway in the Free State High Court
Convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester, along with his girlfriend Nandipha Magudumana and seven others, are facing charges including fraud, obstruction of justice, aiding a convict, desecration of a corpse and arson in the Free State High Court. A pre-trial hearing scheduled for today is expected to be postponed due to some defendants changing legal representation. One of the attorneys representing Zanda Moyo, a Zimbabwean national involved in the case, has withdrawn, citing Moyo's inability to afford legal fees. Moyo allegedly lived with Bester and Magudumana.
