Just so nice to be playing with my band again and in a venue. Was a real privilege.” Speaking about the challenges Covid has presented for the singer, during a time when releasing a record could be a daunting prospect, she says, “I found it pretty hard as I was feeling quite overwhelmed, but since time has passed I’m back to writing again which has been wonderful.” And as for any close encounters of her own? “Alas I have not as of yet!
