Toyota Landcruiser CRAWL CONTROL | Overheated | LC200 SERIES | Self Recovery sand tests | Off road

After receiving a huge amount of feedback from my last Land Cruiser Crawl Control video, I decided it was time to put the system to the test. What works best? High speed, low speed, wheels straight or steering input? These are some of the tests that we conduct today in the sand dunes of the south coast of Western Australia. Keep in mind the ambient temperature for this video’s testing was about 27 degrees Celsius. The crawl control function on these Landcruiser’s is a game changer when it comes to self recovering from a sand bog or maximising traction of shale rock inclines, but it does take knowledge of how, why and what the system is.
