Here I take a boat to an unknown destination and get off on a whim not knowing where I am. I find myself in the city. I take a late breakfast of dry noodles in a side street local restaurant and discover some of the most tender beef I’ve ever eaten in these type of dishes. I give you my impression of the food and convey my thoughts of its taste and quality. Walking off the main city street of the city I’m taken under the buildings into a subterranean area where people go about life in the gloomy darkness. There are massage parlors, food vendors, washing machines, families, and more cats. On my walk back I find a large water monitor lizard in the canal, discuss Thailand’s downturn in tourism, and see more cats.
