2026 Jeep Recon EV | Finally A Jeep EV That Does "Jeep Things"

Why did Jeep launch the Wagoneer S as their first EV? Lord only knows, especially since this Recon was in development at the same time. Think of it as a crossbreed between a Wrangler and a Grand Cherokee, only with a battery and motors instead of an engine. It's a unibody STLA large platform vehicle with basically the same battery and motors as the Wagoneer S, but with a locking rear differential, lower rear drive ratio, 9.1 inches of ground clearance, bash plates and rock rails.
