I've used both the 24-70GM2 and the 20-70G, but I think this 24-50G lens suits me best. From a hobbyist's perspective, I actually think a lens with such a manageable size might be the ultimate zoom lens. The 24-70GM2 is lighter, but it is still too heavy.
