"The Princess Bride": From Book to Film
I recently went to a "page to picture" book club where we watched "The Princess Bride" and discussed the book and film. It was my first time reading the book and BOY HOWDY it was a fun experience!! In this video, I discuss the book's meta-narrative/framing device (which plays a waaaaay bigger part than in the movie), what made the movie such a cult classic, differences from book to film, and what I think the TRUE heart of the story is.
