Chuunibyou AMV ~ A Dustland Fairytale

MY FAVOURITE KILLERS SONG. Probably one of my all time fave songs too! There's just something about it that always gets me. Like i hear it and i go absolutely feral. I also drained my mp3 player battery listening to it on repeat on a family holiday in Australia once and then realised I hadn't brought my charger. Fun times. I had a bit of struggle with this one, as although there were very similar themes between the song and the anime - fantasy as escapism, and a way of coping with the death of a loved one - they're both telling very different stories, so I've tried to capture the spirit of the song and anime, rather than match the lyrics perfectly!
