PROVA SU STRADA della Fiat 500 Cabrio ibrida a benzina 2026
Here you can find all the INFO and IMAGES: https://it.motor1.com/reviews/799647/... The Cabriolet body style is a new addition to the gasoline-powered hybrid version of the new Fiat 500. It's also the most faithful to the original Fiat 500, born in 1957 with a retractable canvas roof instead of a sheet metal roof. After introducing the Hybrid engine at the end of 2025 on the 500 3-door sedan (until then only available in an all-electric version), Fiat is now also offering a Cabriolet body style, alongside the "3+1" version with a gasoline-powered hybrid engine. The debut is entrusted to a special series called Dolcevita, dedicated to the Cabriolet, which is the protagonist of this first road test. The convertible body of the new Fiat 500 Hybrid features a power-folding canvas roof that opens in two halves. The first part holds in place the glass rear window (equipped with an electric defroster), which, with a further press of the button on the roof, folds up like a concertina behind the rear seat headrests. The experience of driving with the sky above your head is unique for such a small car (the new 500 Cabrio is just over 3.60 meters long), even considering the roof of the Toyota Aygo X—which doesn't have such a wide opening—and the MINI Cabrio, which is also a small convertible but with engines and prices that are incomparable to the current 500 Cabrio. The Dolcevita trim level that Fiat created for the launch is equipped with dedicated features, starting with the blue fabric soft top, which pairs with two body colors: Ice White and Celestial Blue. The chrome mirror caps and the "Dolcevita" badge on the sides are other details that characterize the aesthetics of this 500 Hybrid Cabrio, which also features 16" diamond-cut alloy wheels. The front retains the circular look that makes the model instantly recognizable and is equipped with full LED headlights, while the unmistakable vertical taillights remain at the rear. Access to the cargo area is more limited than on the Fiat 500 sedan, to accommodate the soft top mechanisms, but the trunk's minimum capacity of 183 liters remains unchanged. The rear seats fold down to increase space, but not in separate sections (like on the sedan), and the rear seat space is suitable for children and teenagers, or for short trips for adults. It's a shame that the front seat folding system doesn't have a mechanical memory, which is lost every time someone gets on or off the bench. The interior of the Dolcevita special edition features houndstooth fabric and vinyl seat upholstery, with the "500" logo embroidered on the seatbacks. The digital instrumentation is integrated into a dashboard that retains the circular dial shape found on the original Fiat 500 (which turns 70 next year). A full-width fascia remains on the dashboard, matching the exterior color. At the center are a 10.25" touchscreen display, physical buttons for the automatic climate control, a wireless phone charging tray, a manual gear lever suspended above the dashboard, and—between the seats—the audio and handbrake controls, in front of a large storage compartment.
