Extreme BNSF Trains in Northern Arizona - Part 1

Presented in 4K - Located on the Southern Transcon, the BNSF Seligman Subdivision is one of the best places for not just plentiful train action, but scenery as well! Dozens of BNSF trains pass through this line on a daily basis, both heading towards Los Angeles, Chicago, and all points in between. In this video, you'll see various BNSF trains along the Crookton Cutoff portion of the Seligman Sub. This section from Williams to Crookton was built in the 1950's to provide a more direct and less gradient route, as opposed to the original right of way. This section of rail line is one of my favorites, mainly because of the wide open landscapes and the steep rock cuts constructed. I explored mainly in the Perrin/Doublea areas of the cutoff route. I also explored over by the Crookton area, where the original and new alignments meet up, in the Crookton Canyon area. This section is part of the original Transcon route, and it's a vast difference compared to the "newer" alignment. Regardless, great train watching and scenery, regardless where you are on the line!
