Jean Carignan - Québec Fête 1975
Jean Carignan and Gilles Losier play two Irish reels – "Paddy Ryan’s Dream" and "The First House in Connaught" in Mount Royal Park, Montreal at the "Fête Saint - Jean" in 1975. At the beginning of the video, fiddler Paul-Émile Gosselin is awarded first prize at a fiddlers contest, in which Jean Carignan was part of the of the jury. Calvin Sieb, Montreal Symphony concertmaster and teacher of the violinist Kerson Leong awards Gosselin with a special prize.
