The sights in this video are all spaces or features of the infrastructure in Minneapolis that are deemed as public service, but in actuality are facets of class warfare on Black and working class communities. The HERC is a trash incinerator that is located directly in front of North Minneapolis and has caused families in the area to suffer from a myriad of health risks including increased asthma and other pollution related conditions. Along with the 3M Building, responsible for the manufacturing of PFAS and other pollutants, the people are constantly ignored and met with bare-minimum regulations that effectively designate how many people are allowed die before more loopholes are found. The rest of the sites (barriers on fields, fences on sidewalks and bike paths) may seem random but are actions that the city has taken through infrastructure to discreetly sweep unhoused people under the rug. I'm sure that the thousands of dollars used to erect these features could be used in a more humane way. There is also the burnt precinct. Need I say more? Shoutout Matt for pulling up to these places and seeing the vision💯
