Windsurf - 1980s - Riding the Wind with Fraser Black

Early 1980's Documentary shown on Channel 4 about Windsurfer Fraser Black living the dream in Hawaii. Fraser Black originally from the UK was one of the first UK pro windsurfers around the same time as Angus Chater. This video was quite ground breaking as gave a glimpse of a windsurf pro's life with professional footage showing board mounts and well produced shots. Most of it is filmed in Oahu,Diamond Head but i believe some other shots are North Shore and Maui. This was filmed by an independent company who were covering pioneers of different sports and activities well before the web was around to promote them. Check Out the board building, even the Naish boards he was riding look cool today. Also check out the mastfoot system (basically rope) Fraser was using at the time.
