We examine why Jesus reached for Deuteronomy when the devil came — and what that tells us about the theological weight this book carries in the entire biblical story. We trace Deuteronomy's fingerprints across the New Testament — in the Sermon on the Mount, in Paul's letter to the Galatians, in the book of Hebrews, in the economic sharing of the early church in Acts. And we end where the book ends. On a mountain in Moab. With a view of everything that was ever promised. And a grave that no one has ever found — dug by God Himself for the man He loved, hidden deliberately, so the greatest leader in Israel's history could never become an idol. Moses was never the destination. He was always the arrow. And the one he pointed at his whole life — the prophet like Moses, the one who would come and speak for God perfectly — arrived.
