Make a Celtic knot for a pen blank
Alamo Woodturner's member David Sisk shows his process for making a Celtic pen blank. David showed us the jig he uses to make the four cuts needed to form the knot. Normally David uses solid wood inserts for the knot. But he recently was given some Spectraply cutoffs, and he built a blank using this novel material. The result was very attractive. David also showed a similar process for making two interleaved lines to decorate a turning.
