I recommend using the below hook sizes depending on yarn used: 3 DK yarn : 3.5mm to 4.5mm Size 4 Medium/worsted weight: 4.5mm to 5.5mm. Mixing 3 & 4 weight: 3.5mm to 4.5mm SIZE 1 Lace Weight - 2.75mm to 3mm hook used on slouchy hat THE YARN: I'm using size 3 yarn, any brand will work as well as any size. Project info and starting: To begin your project you will chain in multiples of 14 plus 4 at the end to work a flat piece. You will skip the first chain and begin working in the second chain from the hook, ending up with an odd number of stitches. EXAMPLE: I chained 32 and had 31 stitches at the end of my first Foundation Row. TO WORK IN THE ROUND: chain in multiples of 14 and slip stitch to the first chain. begin working the repeat in the first stitch [same stitch you slip stitches into) and follow the Repeat as given in the video.
