French Strawberry Tart

Welcome to my french strawberry tart recipe! I love this french strawberry tart recipe! Custard cream (creme patisserie): 4 egg yolks 130g sugar 30g cornstarch 250g milk 250g heavy cream dash of vanilla bean essence dollop of butter Whisk together over low heat until thick, cover with cling film & refrigerate Base: 130g butter 70g sugar 1 egg 270g plain flour Fold together, flatten in clingfilm and splat into a biscuit base tin. Bake on medium heat until golden. Base cooking time: It depends on the oven- ours was 180 C fan oven for 25 mins but it really depends on oven so keep an eye on it & take it out when golden brown!
