"Freitagnacht Night Jews" is back and this time in London. Host Daniel Donskoy asks the question: Do British Jews find it easier to live their British and Jewish identity on equal footing? In this season of "Freitagnacht Jews" Daniel Donskoy is traveling to four world metropolises : London, Buenos Aires, Tel Aviv and Istanbul. He reports on the history and realities of life in the Jewish communities. How are Jews doing there at the moment? He learns about it from prominent guests whom he invites to the Shabbat evening. There is a lot of laughter and discussion over the home-cooked, “typically Jewish” meal: about being Jewish, about identities, about visibility, and also about anti-Semitism and racism. All with the aim of offering users an international perspective on Jewishness.
