Marbled Slip Casting Redux - white marbling in a black clay body
In this video I try married slip casting again. This time I use a dark clay body that has 8% black mason stain by weight. The marbling is then done with regular slip. My first couple tries have a bit less of a marbling effect, so I try a third time and mix up the slip a bit before rotating the plaster mold. That had a more marbled effect. I glaze the pots using a clear base glaze and show off the final three pots. Enjoy!
