400 WATTS OF SOLAR + 80/20 ROOF RACK | SPRINTER 144 VAN CONVERSION

Hey everyone! In this video I document the install of our new Jinko 400 watt eagle perc half cell and the building of the 80/20 rack around the panel. This panel is massive!!! 80in x 39.5in!! This was really nice to see go on the sprinter build conversion. We got the panel for about $240. These are where the entire industry is going due to half cell technology. They split the cells in the panel to help combat shading which will cause the whole panel to become ineffective. With this if half of it goes into shade the other half will continue to put out power. So you get both benefits of series and parallel in 1 or more panels. Install was almost easier then the planning the 80/20 out. We couldn't find this panel anywhere without buying them in bulk but we found out our local solar shop had made a huge order for a project and was willing to spare a single panel when we told them what we wanted it for.
