WXXA Commercial Breaks (October 25, 1987)

Taken from the movie Ordeal By Innocence, airing on WXXA-TV (channel 23) in Albany, NY. WXXA was by this time a Fox affiliate, but Fox only aired shows on weekend evenings, so essentially it was still an independent station. By 1987 most Fox stations didn't utilize the network's name in their identities yet, only the O&Os did. Many of them added the Fox name in 1990, including WXXA. Fox wouldn't air primetime on each evening until 1993, and that along with the NFL acquisition made the network a household name.
