Nadine Gordimer,winner of 1991 Nobel Prize in Literature was a influential South African writer who strongly opposed the discrimination on the basis of race and lived and died fighting for it. Born in 1923 into a South African society suffering from apartheid, Nadine Gordimer couldn't keep herself away from writing on the matters of racial inequality faced by the black community. She passed away in 2014.
