The Tarka Trail from The Puffing Billy Cafe at Torrington to Barnstaple and beyond
This time I'm cycling along the Tarka Trail from The Puffing Billy Cafe in Torrington, and what a great place to start from. Amazing food and very friendly staff. The trail then took me through Instow and onto Bideford before reaching Barnstaple. I then crossed over the river Taw at Barnstaple along the flyover and then started cycling towards Braunton, Saunton and Woolacombe. Sadly I was running out of time so I had to turn back when I reached around 20 miles. I will make sure that I give myself more time when I come here again. I hope you enjoy this video, I tried to capture the beautiful views and show to you what the cycle path is like. It's very well maintained and a really enjoyable day out. I cycled just under 40 miles in total. Thank you for watching. John M
