Iarnród Éireann - Part Six
We begin at Dubin Heuston watching passengers leave the train which has just arrived. Then, at Dublin Connolly, we see 149 leaving with steam-heated stock and 187 arriving to couple up to a train in the bay platform. A short freight train passes and a DART train arrives. 187 leaves the station with its train. A light engine enters the station and then another (079) leaves. 122 leaves with a push-pull train. Another DART train arrives. 184 is seen at the head of a train. Back at Dublin Heuston, a brand new 200 class locomotive 211 brings in a train, which is then hauled out of the station by 185. 211 thus released then leaves the station. A brand new DMU enters the bay platform as a train departs. The DMU then departs, but pauses to allow a late arriving passenger to catch the train. At Thurles, 211 departs with a cheery wave and whistle from the driver. From on board the train returning from Thurles, we pass by Inchicore Works on the outskirts of Dubin and enter Heuston Station. Next we see 153 bring in a train. At Dublin Connolly we see 183 arrive light engine and later, we see it leave with steam-heated stock. A double-headed, steam-heated train leaves Dublin Connolly and then 129 leaves the station with a short train. Seen from the train, we leave Dublin Connolly Station, pass a DART train, pause at Tara Street Station and proceed to Dublin Pearse Station. The steam-heated train is then seen leaving Pearse Station pulled by locomotive 184. Back at Dublin Connolly, 122 departs with a push-pull train and a DART train arrives.
