Max effort at Longrun meadow parkrun need more sub 18 minute times for consistency.. 18th July 2026

Longrun meadow parkrun - 18/07/26 Hi all and welcome back to the channel, and another parkrun video. Unfortunately, due to time restrictions we weren't able to travel today, although i say unfortunately as I like to travel and do different parkruns, but I still really enjoy longrun meadow parkrun even though this is my 397th run here and i also train here on a weekly basis during the summer with my run club and at times during the winter. Today is my 543 parkrun, and it is my 29th parkrun this year. I have really struggled over the last couple of weeks to get my schedule to match with the run club sessions, so I have done lots of the session by myself, and i believe that you never run as fast when you are solo opposed to running in a group..and hoping that i havent lost any speed, as i have been regularly running sub 18s over the last few months. The weather today was good, it was dry and nice and warm, but there was cooling wind in places, which was nice at times.
