Vegetables, fruits, and fresh food from the day are often discounted, allowing people to save money while reducing food waste. For me, saving a few yuan every day may seem like a small thing. But over time, these small choices can make a real difference. This is my real life after unemployment in China — learning to live simply, manage my money, and move forward one day at a time.
