In this video I make a small black locust bowl using faceplates that would come with any lathe. All turning is done in real time to give beginning turners a sense of time required for this type of project. Small bowls are very popular as they have all the esthetic of a large bowl but are not cost inhibitive to most buyers and they can be turned on most lathes.
