Cukupkah Anjing Kampung Diberi Makanan Sisa Manusia?

I've often heard in this dog's native land that hunting dogs shouldn't be fed "fishy" foods (fish/meat, etc.). Perhaps this is because the locals of Gunung Puntang often see me feeding them dog food, chicken, meat, eggs, etc. I think it's more of a self-consoling statement, suggesting that owning a dog can be cost-effective, especially since this is a domestic dog; how can it be fed the same as a purebred dog? But I understand, as many people still underestimate domestic dogs. However, if we give them the same opportunities and quality of life as working breeds, we can see a marked difference in the performance of these tough, domestic dogs, suited to the local Indonesian climate.
